Mansfield Memorial Homes Nursing Center responds to the needs of our residents with a goal-focused, interdisciplinary approach. We have various levels of care to accommodate our residents' needs.

The Nursing Center is a 99-bed skilled and intermediate care facility. Well-appointed private and semiprivate rooms are available depending on the needs of the resident.

We are pleased to announce that we now have the following new equipment to assist our residents and keep our staff safe:

• Lifts in every room

• Ergonomic shower chairs and whirlpool tub

• New wheelchairs

• Bariatric Beds

• Specialty beds for wound care.

The staff includes a Medical Director, Director of Nursing, Registered and Licensed Practical Nurses and State Tested Nursing Assistants.

Laboratory, pharmaceutical and X-ray services are provided around-the-clock. A full-time activities staff offers a wide range of therapeutical and recreational activities. Other services include vision, hearing, dental and podiatry, beauty/barber shop, and gift shop.

The dining room is under the supervision of a Dietary Manager and Registered Dietitian.

Medically Complex Care/Subacute Care

Medically complex care may be provided for, but is not limited to:

• Postsurgical care and Major multiple trauma

• Infection and infectious diseases

• IV therapies

  • Pain management

  • Nutrition/hyperalimentation/TPN

  • Antibiotic therapy

  • Dobutamine therapy

• Diabetes

• Ostomy/catheter care

• Naso- and gastro-intestinal feedings

• Wound care

• Bariatric Care
