THE RIGHT CARE IS RIGHT HERE
I was born and raised in Mansfield Ohio. My husband of 18 years, Doug works at the prison, and coaches wrestling at Madison High School. We attend Grace Bible church in Lucas. We have five children between us; four grand-children who I love to spend time with. I have been a Nurse for 32 years, a Licensed Massage Therapist for 10 years and I teach skin care with Mary Kay cosmetics. I like to read and watch movies, do some crafting and crocheting when time allows, but mostly do stuff with my family especially my grandkids. I believe learning is important therefore I am working on my Masters in Nursing. Being Director of Nursing is my most favorite position because I feel this is where I can have the most positive influence in helping staff and residents. The most influential persons in my life would be my grandmother and father. They taught me you have to work hard, always be willing to learn, and don’t be afraid to admit when you are wrong.

~ Joan Johnson, Resident
"My dad, Reverend Verdel Washington, has been in three different nursing homes. His last stay a few months ago was at Mansfield Memorial Homes, and he loved it there! His care was excellent. With a lot of therapy, he improved quickly, but we had a hard time getting him to leave because he felt so comfortable there. I was there almost daily and was always impressed with the facility and the staff."
